Alicante airport is one of Spain’s busiest airports with an average of 10 million passengers passing through each year. The gateway to the Costa Blanca, located in the Valencia region about 10km from Alicante centre. The airport is also a popular choice for visitors to the Murcia region. Positioned not far from the A7 motorway, it can be easily accessed by bus taxi or private vehicle.

Car hire is available with eight car hire companies operating out of Alicante airport, including the internationally recognised Avis and Hertz. Alternately, there is a new bus service that runs from the airport to various destinations on the Orihuela Costa. Long and short stay car parks. The long stay car park is just a short walk from the terminal and has 1300 parking spaces. The price starts at 14 euros per day and decreases according to the length of your stay. Prices are initially based on a per minute basis up to 30 minutes then on an hourly basis. The airport also offers a First Class car park and a car park for extra height vehicles over 2.10 m.
